The 5th of June was the anniversary of the third month since the loss of our dear Enea.

I wish to write few words to thank all of you for the closeness and affection shown to me and our son, Leonardo, during this period. In doing that, I would have preferred to personally thank all of you, one by one. You have sent messages of friendship and affection to our family from all over Italy and Europe. I believe that this is the recognition of the great person and researcher Enea was. His great personality, honesty and passion for his job have made him a dear friend, a fair collegue, a reliable collaborator and especially a careful father and husband.

We miss him so much and for this reason I would like to dedicate a minute of our daily routine to him, to remember him for what he did for us in his gentle and altruistic way of doing. Now, most of us feel lonely without him, but I think, even in this tragic situation, he left us a part of him somehow.

I believe that Enea would have appreciated your gesture, especially because he had in his life a great esteem and respect for each of you.
